Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Julia Fiona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theatre from an early time. As a student in Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and in Atlanta. Following his air force service In 1953, he starred in an airforce production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and relocated in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also established an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. The couple had another two children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also known by the name Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know by the same name Julie).
