Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14th of 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. She was the first American female gymnast who won four gold medals at a single Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first woman to ever win consecutive World All Around Titles (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metropolitan region. Both she and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won a gold in the floor exercise as well as a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. Then she re-entered the elite levels of gymnastics competition in the year the year 2011. In just two short years she became the most dominant in her sport. Biles's steadfastness, her enthusiastic nature and high degree of difficulty during her four events -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise, and floor exercises -- helped to set her apart.
