Alison Krauss is one of the most well-known and successful Country Singer who was born on the 23rd of July 1971 in the United States state of Illinois, Decatur. She and LeAnnekymes were among the newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born on July 23, 1971, is an American bluegrass and country vocalist. Her career in music began as a young girl, winning local contests by 10, before recording for the first time when she was 14 years old. When she was 14, she signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. She was a part of the group which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in the year 1989.
